In a compelling sermon during the confirmation service for four parishes at Bikungu Archdeaconary, Maama Joy Twinomujuni, the wife to the esteemed Bishop of West Ankole diocese, passionately implored all married couples to eschew adultery. She emphasized that this destructive behavior stands as a primary contributor to violence and divorce, significantly affecting families across Uganda.

The confirmation service, which took place at Bikungu Archdeaconary in Mutara Town council, Mitooma District, provided an opportune platform for Maama Joy Twinomujuni to deliver her powerful message. As she shared her insights, the congregation attentively listened, recognizing the importance of her words for a harmonious society.

Throughout the event, the Right Reverend Johnson Twinomujuni, the Bishop of West Ankole diocese, echoed his wife’s sentiments, emphasizing the need for people to embrace a more God-centric lifestyle. He urged students to deeply appreciate the sacrifices their parents make to build a stable foundation for their lives.

Amidst the celebrations, Ven. Can Rev Yowas Mulungi, the archdeacon of Bikungu Archdeaconary, revealed that a significant milestone had been achieved. The Bishop confirmed an impressive total of 415 Christians into the Anglican faith, signifying the remarkable development and growth of the church.

The impactful addresses and confirmations underscored the significance of spiritual devotion and fidelity within families, aiming to strengthen the fabric of Ugandan society as a whole.
