Thursday, July 27, 2023

Businessman Agrippa Bopela Masiyakurima, 55, has made an appearance before a Harare magistrate on charges pertaining to the non-payment of school fees for his three children.

The complainant, Abigail Marongwe (43), holds a position as a credit manager at CBZ (Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe).

According to the prosecution led by Mrs. Kudzanayi Mudzamiri, during a court hearing at Harare Civil Court on February 28, 2023, Masiyakurima was instructed to make direct payments for the school fees of his three minor children.

However, it has been alleged that Masiyakurima failed to fulfill this obligation by not paying the required first-term school fees for the current year, resulting in a default amount of US$8,053.

Consequently, a warrant of arrest has been issued in his name.
