Bunyoro University Planning Meeting Held at Kabalega Resort Hotel

HOIMA CITY – A strategic planning meeting was held at Kabalega Resort Hotel in Hoima City, gathering stakeholders from Bunyoro districts with the aim of establishing Bunyoro University. The meeting, which took place with the purpose of gathering ideas to be included in the strategic plan, is scheduled to be ready by October 30.

Religious, political, and cultural leaders, alongside heads of departments from local governments in the region, were engaged in the meeting. The goal was to foster collaboration and input from various sectors in the planning process for the university.

Organized by the Bunyoro University steering committee, the meeting facilitated a group discussion session. During this session, participants extensively discussed the progress made in establishing the university, employing the SWOT analysis approach to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

The comprehensive gathering aimed to ensure that all perspectives were considered in shaping the strategic plan for Bunyoro University. The planning committee is diligently working towards the establishment of a high-quality academic institution that caters to the needs and aspirations of the community.

By bringing together leaders and representatives from diverse backgrounds, the meeting sought to create a solid foundation for the university’s development, paving the way for a progressive and impactful educational institution in the region.

The participants expressed their optimism and commitment to the strategic planning process, acknowledging the significance of a unified effort in bringing the vision of Bunyoro University to fruition.
