Kisoro District | The Black Examiner – Police in Kisoro district are currently holding two suspects for alleged strangling and subsequent murder of an unidentified male adult whose lifeless body was discovered at
Zindiro village Kamonye ward Northern Division Kisoro Municipality/ District.
According to official police report,the Suspects have been identified as Dusimimana Oliver female aged 37 years mufumbira resident of the same village and her son Iragire Moses male aged 18 years mufumbira
Elly Maate the Kigezi Sub region spokesperson alleges that, today the 22/8/2023 at around 1600hrs, Police received information from one member of the public via a phone call that there was a male adult’s dead body lying at the above village and police responded and the body of the deceased was found with wounds on the face.
Additionally Maate confirmed that upon receiving information,the Scene was visited and documented by staff led by D/ASP Tuhabwe Robert with canine officers, the decomposing body was conveyed to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Upon inquiries two Suspects were apprehended to assist police in investigations .
Maate told press today that the case file murder by strangulation was subsequently registered at Kisoro CPS under reference number CRB 576/2023.
