Nevertheless, United Nations and other humanitarian officials expressed deep concern about a growing humanitarian crisis affecting the civilian population in Gaza. Hospitals are struggling to manage the rising number of casualties, and essential supplies like food, medical resources, clean water, and fuel are in short supply.
The director of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza has reported that more than 50 Palestinians lost their lives, and 150 others sustained injuries due to Israeli airstrikes targeting a densely populated area within the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
