Police are investigating a bizarre incident in which the body of a man was found in a lodging after he had been allegedly sodomised and murdered in Isinya, Kajiado.
The deceased had earlier on November 27 walked to the lodging in the company of three other men and booked two rooms.

And after booking the rooms, the men walked in for the night. Three of them left the facility the following day, police said.
It wasn’t until about 1 pm that a room cleaner stumbled on the body of one of the men who had walked therein with the three who were missing then.
The room was partially open then, the cleaner told police.
Police visited the scene and found the lifeless body with no physical injuries but suspected to have been sodomized.
The team said there were signs of sodomy on the man.
Upon searching a wallet which was beside him, the officers found a Huduma card with the name of the deceased.
Police said on Thursday that they are yet to find the other three men who escaped the scene.
The motive of the incident is yet to be known and investigations are ongoing.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further investigations.
Police said they are investigating sodomy and murder.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the cause of death of a man whose body was found lying in a flowerbed at a residential apartment in Kibera, Nairobi.
The man was identified as Anthony Chirako, 56.
The family said he had heart-related complications.
The deceased’s friends and workmates said he came to work on Wednesday morning and later complained of being tired.
He then requested to rest at the flowerbed and never woke up.
It was not until hours later that the colleagues went to check on him when they realized he had passed on.
Kilimani police boss Moss Ndiwa said they are investigating the incident.
He said the body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other procedures.
