Youth groups under Goodie Leisure farm have Wednesday donated an assortment of items amounting to millions of shillings to young children who are undergoing treatment at Hoima regional referral Hospital. The items included sugar and clothes among others.

Led by their coordinator Sylvia Nalumaga Balyesiima who is also the deputy Lord Mayor Hoima city, the youths who are engaged in several farming projects in the city and Hoima district say at every end of the year, they extend a helping hand to different vulnerable groups of people like the sick, orphans, elderly among others.

Speaking from the pediatric ward, Nalumaga commended the health personnel for the tireless job they are dong in treating the young children to ensure hope and life is restored.

She reveals that the purpose of their visit was to share something with the patients as they close the year and to carry hope and faith among those battling with different illnesses.

Sister Maria Gorret Bithire, the senior nursing officer Hoima regional referral hospital appreciated the youths for the donation something that she says instills hope among those caring for the children.

Nickson Oringi and Muhereza Tumusabe from Kyangwali and Buhimba sub counties respectively in Kikuube district commended the team from Goodie leisure for the support extended which now gives them a sigh of relief.
