KAMPALA, (Examiner) – Belarus and Uganda have outlined plans to expand economic and trade cooperation. The matters were discussed at the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia) Pavel Vzyatkin with Prime Minister of Uganda Robinah Nabbanja, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Agriculture, industry, pharmaceuticals, investments and the development of direct contacts between the businesses of Belarus and Uganda were the main topics on the agenda of the meeting between the Belarusian diplomat and the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uganda.

“The parties discussed and outlined plans to expand interaction with a focus on the economy and trade,” the ministry said.
