KAMPALA, (Examiner) – In a coordinated intelligence operation involving Entebbe Police and the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) from the Entebbe Battalion, a total of 19 individuals have been apprehended. The operation, conducted in the Mpala area, aimed to curb criminal activities affecting the local community.
According to Patrick Onyango, the Spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police, the arrests were made on charges related to possession of Marijuana and smoking Shisha.
The suspects have been identified as follows: Mark Johnson, Kakungulu Abdu Razak, Musazi Kevin, Ssemanda Charles, Muwonge Vincent, Mutebi Paul, Owor Innocent, Seruba Joel, Kaggwa Nicolas, Bwire Hassan, Musoke Shafik, Birumwe Denis, Kainerugaba Geofrey, Ssempa Leko, Muwanguzi Johnathan, Ssemakula Simon, Tanzi Bosco, Ssemwanga Samuel, and Kasozi Dickson.
“All suspects are currently held at Entebbe Police Station awaiting court proceedings,” Onyango confirmed.
