Coca-Cola Beverages Africa has unveiled a cutting-edge production line at its Namanve headquarters in Uganda, marking a significant milestone for the country’s beverage industry. With an impressive capacity of 67,000 bottles per hour, the new facility represents a $27 million investment that is set to redefine local production standards.

“This expansion underscores our leadership in operational excellence,” remarked Melkamu Abebe, General Manager of Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda. “Beyond sheer output, our commitment extends to fostering shared opportunities throughout the value chain.” The initiative has already generated over 900 jobs and bolstered numerous local businesses that supply essential raw materials and services.

Abebe highlighted the company’s dedication to Uganda’s advancement, affirming, “This investment exemplifies our ongoing commitment to meeting growing consumer demand with unparalleled product quality and accessibility.” As demand surges across Uganda, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa continues to innovate, ensuring their products reach customers through dynamic channels.
