The State of Bukaleeba Health Centre II Worries Ugandans

Mayuge District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | A viral photo of a health facility in Mayuge District, believed to be Bukaleeba Health Centre II in Lwanika Parish, Bukatuube Sub-County, has left Ugandans on social media in shock.

The image, initially shared by Spire Cartoons on platform X, has sparked concerns among users. According to one user named Haji Bumali Habib, the facility is government-owned and receives its medication supplies from the district.

“Yeah, the picture is authentic; that’s the building. However, the facility has a midwife and a government-employed nurse, and they also receive medicines from the district,” clarified @ghbumali on X.

Reactions have been pouring in:

“Hahaha! @HuduHussein may label this as blackmail and defamation. The NRM Leadership has showcased specialized hospitals in Uganda recently. But I’ve been wondering, why do most of their top officials continue to seek medical treatment abroad in Europe, South Africa, and India without any clear answers?” – @SsemaluluAmos

“Honestly, if you visit this center for laboratory services, you’ll leave with doubts about the diagnosis. For instance, would you trust the HIV test results from this facility?” – @sengo800
