The suspect has been identified as Chesuro, resides in Branch Township, Binyiny Town Council, within Kween District, as confirmed by Fredmark Chesang, the Sipi Regional Police Spokesperson.
Investigations show that Chesuro fatally struck his wife, Sophie Cheboriot, by hitting her in the head with a chair. Subsequently, he shot his son, Elijah, with an arrow. Following these shocking events, concerned residents took immediate action, apprehending the man, and promptly notified the police.
Fredmark Chesang told Examiner that the bodies of the victims have been conveyed to Kapchorwa General Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Denis Moloki, the Branch cell chairman, appealed to the police to thoroughly investigate the murder, emphasizing that there were no known issues within the Chesuro family.
“I have never received any complaints suggesting familial problems from the Chesuro family” Moloki added .
Chesuro has been officially charged with murder, and the investigation is currently underway.
