Kasese Man Knocked Dead by Speeding Vehicle

Kasese District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | A 32 year old man is reported to have been knocked dead by a speeding vehicle at Kahendero junction along Kasese-Mbarara high way.

The acting Police Spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, Supretendant of Police, Luke Mbusa confirmed the information and identified the deceased as, Alex Masereka, a Boda-Boa rider at Kahendero stage.

SP. Luke identified the killer vehicle as Harrier registration number UBK 177T that allegedly knocked a Bajaj Boxer Regn No.UFW 049B at Kahendero stage.

SP. Luke urged road users to observe traffic rules and regulations to avoid accidents along the high way.

Mr. Laurence Bwambale, the chairperson local council one Bwenanule village in Muhokya town council told this Radio that the deceased was knocked as he tried to cross the road heading to Kahendero Fish landing site.

However at Kasese Municipal Health centre three mortuary, there was a disagreement between the mother and father of the deceased who is a polygamist about the burial site of the deceased, the chairperson Boda-boda stage Kahendero stage, Mr. Kikundi Living Madilu confirmed.
