Archdiocese of Mbarara Archdiocese His grace Lambert Bainomugisha has appealed to newly ordained priests to serve the people of God with generosity.

The prelate while presiding over an ordination ceremony and grand church commissioning of St Joseph the worker catholic parish, Buhimba where Deacons, Luke Nyoreka and Cosmas Namanya were ordained to priesthood urged them to give sacraments, follow Jesus Christ teachings in all walks of life, celebrate mass, anoint the sick, help the needy as Jesus did in his teachings.

Mbarara Archdiocese deputy Laity head, Eng Dr Silver Mugisha asked parents to always take their sons and daughters to seminaries and other vocations Schools as this will increase number of people to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.


Buhweju County Member of Parliament Francis Mwijukye appealed to the newly ordained priests to exercise their duties they have been called for, where he said religious leaders play a vital role in transforming communities in line with government programs.
