29-Year-Old Man Killed by Speeding Vehicle in Bushenyi

Bushenyi District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Police in Bushenyi District are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred yesterday evening at around 7:30 PM near Bushenyi Health Centre IV along the Mbarara-Kasese highway. In this incident, a 29-year-old man, identified as Philemon Nuwenyesiga, a resident of Kutungu Cell in Central Division, Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality, lost his life after being struck and killed by a speeding vehicle.

Marcial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson, provided details of the incident. The vehicle involved in the accident, bearing registration number UAL 264T, was a silver Toyota Corolla. It was traveling from Mbarara to Bushenyi town when it lost control and fatally collided with the cyclist.

Following the incident, the victim’s body was transported to BB Clinic in Ishaka for a postmortem examination. Investigations into the matter are currently underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
