Nakasongola District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Police in Nakasongola district are actively investigating a case of murder by stubbing of three family members by unknown thugs.
The incident happened last evening at Kawunya village,Bamugolodde parish Kalongo sub county in Nakasongola district.
Sam Twineamazima Savannah region police spokesperson has identified the three family members as Mutimba Julius aged 45 years a medical practitioner, his wife Nakayuma Resty aged 35 years also a medical practitioner/ councillor Kalongo sub county and 6 month old baby only identified as Immaculate all resident of same area.
It’s alleged that Mutimba had two clinics operating in two trading centres of Bamugolodde and Nalugombya, and had gone to pick his wife from nalugombya on motorcycle registration Number UFL 736k, Bajaj.
He was attacked on the way by unknown assailants, who blocked the road by putting logs, stabbing him on the Left chest.
He fell down with the motorcycle, and died on spot.
The e attackers, went a head and stabbed the wife to death who had fallen a bout 5 meters away with her 6months old baby and all died.
People rushed to the scene, but the assailants took off to unknown place in the bush. Twineamazima adds that police visited the scene, motorcycle of deceased recovered and the bodies taken to Nakasongola Health Center IV
