Dokolo District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | A 68-year- old woman in Dokolo District has lost her Shs. 980,000 that she received under the Parish Development model from DFCU bank, Dokolo branch yesterday.
Bosco Adoko the LC3 chairman of Dokolo Sub County said, Nasanta Ayapu Omara, a local of Abenyo, Abenyo parish, Dokolo Sub County, and a member of Abenyo PDM sacco has been admitted at Dokolo HC IV when she collapsed after losing her money.
He said Nasanta after receiving the money was lured by some young lady who offered to help her buy drugs at a drug shop along Soroti road but on their way, she grabbed the bag containing her money and vanished.
Patrick Okello the chairperson of Abenyo PDM Saaco said they rushed Nasanta to Dokolo HC IV after she collapsed.
He cautioned people receiving PDM cash to remain vigilant to avoid losing their money to trick
