Bobi Wine was Safely Escorted to his Home – Police says

Uganda Police has refuted social media rumors that suggested the arrest of the National Unity Platform party President, Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi, commonly known as Bobi Wine, terming them as false.

Bobi Wine, who was returning from his mobilization tours, received a security escort from Entebbe to his residence in Magere, as confirmed by the Police’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The Police clarified that he safely arrived at his home at approximately 11:20 AM, underscoring the misinformation surrounding his alleged arrest.

Furthermore, the Police assured that business activities and movements along Entebbe Road, within Kampala and Gayaza, remain uninterrupted.
