Thomas Tayebwa, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, applauds Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II for his tireless efforts in improving healthcare, alleviating poverty, and fostering unity.

The Tooro Kingdom also extends its well-wishes to the Kabaka, citing the strong bond between the two kingdoms.
Throughout his reign, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has made significant contributions, such as supporting children’s education through sponsorships, promoting agriculture, and overseeing the documentation of Buganda’s land.
As the longest-serving King of Buganda since the kingdom’s founding in the 11th century, his enthronement on July 31, 1993, at Naggalabi-Buddo marked the restoration of traditional monarchies in Uganda.
