Buganda Community Launches Vibrant Showcase in Norway!

The Buganda Community in Norway, represented by Buganda Samfunnet in Norway, is set to host a cultural launch event at Oslo Vineyard in Oslo on September 16, 2023. The aim of the event is to foster unity and celebrate the rich diversity of the Ugandan community living in Norway.

Muweesi Hannington, the chairperson of Buganda Samfunnet in Norway, stated that the organization is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange, education, and harmony among Baganda residing in Norway. The event will be a platform to showcase and celebrate the vibrant traditions and customs of Buganda and Uganda, inspiring individuals of all ages through shared experiences and pride in their cultural heritage.

The launch event promises to be captivating, featuring traditional dances, music performances by renowned Ugandan artists like Eddy Yawe and Herbie Kawuma, and a tantalizing array of traditional cultural foods.
