Bushenyi District | The Black Examiner – Passengers in Bushenyi were today morning left stranded as tax drivers laid down their tools protesting unfair treatment in the transport sector.

Taxi operators accused police and security agencies of failing to implement the Ministry of Work resolutions together with RDC’s office on the issue of bus operation in Ishaka town.

During the meeting held in June this year chaired by the commissioner of transport and licensing board, Winston Katushabe resolved that each bus company use only 4 buses which some companies are doing the contrary.

Muhammad Lukwago, one of the taxi operators’ leaders said that Tausi Bus Company has continued to violate the resolutions and now they have decided to park all vehicles at the RDCs office until they put the resolutions into use.
