Entebbe, Uganda | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has temporarily halted school study tours at Entebbe Airport. Vianney Lugya, the CAA spokesperson, cited the suspension as a response to the airport’s ongoing expansion efforts.
Due to the increased utilization of Entebbe International Airport facilities and the necessity to cordon off parts of the parking area during expansion, study tours to the airport have been temporarily suspended. Lugya explained, “On a typical day, we’ve been accommodating more than 15 schools, each bringing around 100 students.”
This measure is intended to enhance service provision during the facility’s upgrade, ensuring a superior passenger experience. The public will be notified as soon as the suspension of study tours is lifted, Lugya added.
