Don’t Forget Your Roots, ICT Minister Tells Ugandans

Kampala, Uganda | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, the Information Communication Technology (ICT) and National Guidance Minister, has encouraged Ugandans to harness the nation’s rich cultural diversity for the advancement of the country. He made this call while serving as the chief guest at the Nation Media Group (NMG) Cultural Wear Day celebration in Namuwongo, Kampala.

During his address, Dr. Baryomunsi highlighted the fact that all employs individuals from various regions of Uganda, and he emphasized the significance of events like the Cultural Wear Day in promoting cultural appreciation within the workplace.

He stated, “The government’s message is clear: let us utilize our diversity to define the strength of our nation. Our diverse cultural backgrounds should not be a source of disunity or animosity. Instead, we should unite and leverage this diversity to advance our country’s interests.”
