DP Vice President, Hon. Fred Mukasa Mbidde, has extended a call to his former colleagues who left the party following disagreements over an agreement with the government. He asserts that they are willing to shed light on the true content of the agreements made in the accord.
Mbidde emphasized that those who hold differing views should approach them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specifics of the agreement they signed with the government. This approach would prevent any misinterpretations or harsh criticisms without first obtaining accurate information.
Moreover, he suggested that if any of his former colleagues fear losing support from their constituents, they should return to the areas they represent and educate the people about the particulars of the agreement. By doing so, they can ensure that their constituents are well-informed, and they can effectively lead them based on mutual understanding.
