Four suspects have been accused of the brutal murder of 32-year-old Electrician Conrad Ninsiima at Bombacha Bar and Lodges in Kabale Municipality. Yesterday, they were further remanded to Ndorwa Government Prison until August 21.

The suspects are identified as Ben Kakuru and Sam Niwahereza, both employees at Bambocha Bar and Lodges; Medard Atwebembeire, the Manager of Standard Hotel; and Amos Turinawe, a resident of Nyamweru Sub County in Rubanda District.

The prosecution’s account presented in court states that on May 12, 2023, at Bombocha Bar and Lodges in Kigongi B Cell, Central Ward of Central Division, the suspects allegedly orchestrated the intentional murder of Ninsiima, who hailed from Nyarukonkoromi Cell, Rushaki Ward in Southern Division.

The act committed is in direct violation of sections 188 and 189 of the penal code act.

The prosecution has informed the court that investigations are still ongoing and requested an adjournment for the matter.

In response, Her Worship Rachael Tabaruka ordered that the suspects be remanded to Ndorwa Government prison until August 21, 2023, when they will appear in court again for further proceedings.
