Dokolo District | The Black Examiner – The police in Dokolo District have apprehended Vincent Ogwal, the LC2 chairman of Akolodong parish in Amwoma Sub County. This arrest follows the recent detention of Tonny Kweji, who was apprehended for the theft of a gun belonging to a police officer at Rego Rego police station. Kweji implicated Ogwal, stating that he was involved in the gun theft.
Geoffrey Odur, the LC3 chairman of Amwoma Sub County, reported that Vincent Ogwal was summoned by the Dokolo Central Police Station on Tuesday to provide a statement. However, he was arrested after Tonny Kweji informed the police that Ogwal was one of the individuals who encouraged him to steal the gun.
Vincent Ogwal’s wife, Rose Ogwal, confirmed her husband’s arrest. Additionally, Dokolo Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Barbra Akec acknowledged receiving information about Ogwal’s detention.
