Kasese Diocese Youth Office to Cover Church Dues for Mass Wedding Couples

Kasese District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The Youth Office of the Diocese of Kasese has announced that it will cover all church dues for couples planning to participate in a mass wedding scheduled for January 14, 2024, The Black Examiner has learnt.

Reverend Father Joseph Tumusime, the Diocesan youth chaplain, revealed that the mass wedding is slated to take place at the conclusion of the Diocesan youth conference at the Catechetical Center in Nsenyi Parish. In a separate interview after initiating the Diocesan youth walk with Mother Mary for forty days at St. Luke Kasokero Roman Catholic Church in Nsenyi Parish on Sunday, Father Tumusiime encouraged Christians to seize this uncommon opportunity to receive the sacrament of matrimony by registering with their Parish Priest.

The Archbishop of Mbarara Archdiocese, His Grace Lambert Bainemogisha, along with the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, will officiate the mass wedding.

Father Tumusime explained that the decision to organize the mass wedding aims to include couples who face financial obstacles preventing them from celebrating traditional wedding ceremonies. He urged Christians to fortify their relationship with God and lead lives that serve as examples, glorifying His name.
