Bukwo District | The Black Examiner – Police in Bukwo district are investigating the circumstances under which a man believed to be in his early 30s was slaughtered mercilessly in Riwo town council, Lolwo Ward, Bukwo District.
As per an eyewitness account, local individuals who had ventured into the bush for cattle grazing stumbled upon the lifeless body of an unidentified man. The discovery was made in Riwo town council, sparking immediate attention and concern.
Regrettably, the identity of the deceased remains a mystery, as he did not appear to be a local resident of the area.
Moreover, a resident mentioned that the body had likely been left abandoned in the bush for approximately two days following the heinous act of violence that claimed his life.
Promptly responding to the situation, the residents promptly notified the authorities at the Bukwo Central Police Station. Law enforcement officials from this station arrived at the scene and took custody of the deceased’s body. Subsequently, the body was transported to the Bukwo District Hospital Mortuary, where a thorough postmortem examination is scheduled to take place.
Despite attempts to contact the Greater Sipi Police spokesperson for insights, our efforts were met with frustration, as the spokesperson remained inaccessible, failing to respond to our repeated calls for comment
