Man Impregnates Daughter in Sheema

Sheema District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Police in Sheema district are hunting for a man who defiled and impregnated his 16-year-old biological daughter.

According to Marcial Tumusiime, the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson identified the suspect as Nelson Tumusiime 40 a peasant, and a resident of Kagango cell, Kagango Division, Sheema municipality in the Sheema District.

Tumusiime said the victim is a 16-year-old pupil at Unique Nursery and Primary School in P.3 and a resident of the same address.

It was reported that the suspect and the wife separated many years ago and the victim was brought to stay with the father, her siblings, and the grandmother.

Tumusiime said during August 2023 the suspect started defiling the victim from his bedroom and warned her never to tell anyone.

However this month the victim started feeling pain in her stomach and on 27/09/2023, it prompted the suspect to take her to Kabwohe Health Centre IV for treatment, examining her, the doctor discovered that the victim was pregnant.

This forced Tumusiime to become suspicious when the doctor started interrogating the victim on who was responsible for her pregnancy, so he ran away and abandoned the victim in the hospital.
