According to reports, a man in his early thirties was tragically murdered by unidentified individuals in Kibumba cell, located in Maliba town council within Kasese district.Although there has been no official statement from the police yet, Hon. Robert Baluku, the Vice Chairperson of local council three for Maliba subcounty, confirmed the incident and identified the victim as Hanning Bwambale, a resident of the area.
Hon. Robert mentioned that the police will be conducting an investigation into the matter. The local community has been speculating that the motive behind the murder might be connected to suspicions of the deceased being involved in a romantic relationship with a married woman. However, these rumors are yet to be verified by the authorities.
