According to Amos Muriisa, the Public Relations Officer for SBC Uganda, it seems that the construction of the airport in Hoima was carefully planned to facilitate the transportation of oil and gas equipment. The progress of the ongoing works at Kabalega International Airport is currently at an impressive 91% completion.

Once construction is finished, the Kabalega International Airport will have the incredible capability of accommodating up to four of the largest cargo planes simultaneously. These incredible aircraft are primarily dedicated to transporting essential equipment required for the thriving oil and gas operations in the area.

Yiga Sempogo, a communication specialist working at the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), recently came forth with exciting news. He disclosed that elaborate plans were already in motion to establish essential social facilities aimed at fostering the development of Kabalega Industrial Park.

the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Reverend His Grace Dr. Stephen Kazimba Mugalu, joined other officials to plant trees at the Kingfisher Development Area, which is operated by CNOOC Uganda Limited. This inspiring act of tree-planting highlights the collective effort towards protecting our planet and preserving its natural beauty. It’s heartening to see influential figures taking part in such initiatives to create a more sustainable future for all of us.
