Avoid Underestimating Jobs – Graduates told

During the 18th graduation ceremony at the Kasese study centre in Kasese Municipality, Mr. George Mayinja, the Kasese District Education Officer, delivered an important message to the graduates. He highlighted the concerning trend among many graduates who, instead of engaging in income-generating activities, end up depending on their families due to their tendency to underestimate certain job opportunities that they deem below their qualifications.

Mr. Mayinja commended Obusinga Bwa-Rwenzururu for their annual provision of one hundred bursaries to students at the Mbarara Institute for Social Development, where over one hundred students received certificates and diplomas in various fields on the day of the graduation ceremony. Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Alfred Kule Ikwera, the institute’s principal, acknowledged the positive impact of the bursaries.

In addition to this, Mr. Ikwera advised parents to invest in the education of their children, emphasizing the long-term benefits and opportunities it can provide.
