Challenging the URA team to execute their duties effectively for Uganda’s benefit, Rt. Rev. Raphael P’mony Wokorach urged them to seek divine guidance and remain steadfast in prayer, recognizing the challenges of tax collection.

Meanwhile, URA faces resistance from city traders refusing to adopt the EFRIS system, prompting President Museveni to intervene and urge traders to suspend their strike pending resolution.

Expressing gratitude for the Bishop’s visit, Commissioner General Musinguzi Rujoki congratulated him on his appointment as the Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese and emphasized the association of URA with Martyrs Day celebrations, highlighting the importance of integrity in service.

The day concluded with the Bishop leading URA staff in a mass, reinforcing the message of dedication and integrity in their roles.
