Boda-Boda Cyclist Arrested for Alleged Defilement of 13-Year-Old Girl in Kasese Municipality

In a recent incident that shook the community, a 27-year-old Boda-Boda cyclist has been apprehended on charges of defiling a thirteen-year-old girl. The unfortunate incident took place in Kamaiba Upper Cell, located in Kasese Municipality.

The confirmation of this distressing news came from SP. Nelson Tumushime, the Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region. The suspect in custody has been identified as Mr. David Muswahili, who works as a Boda-Boda cyclist at Mukangati stage in Kilembe Quarters within Kasese town.

The authorities took swift action upon receiving the information, reflecting their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the community, particularly its vulnerable members. The arrest of the accused marks an important step in the investigation process, as the police work diligently to gather evidence and bring justice to the victim.
