Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Calls Upon Youth to Embrace Skills Training for Accelerated Sustainable Development

Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, a region known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance, has recently emphasized the importance of skills training as a catalyst for sustainable development. The kingdom, located in Western Uganda, has called upon its youth to actively embrace vocational education to fuel progress and prosperity in the region.

In a notable demonstration of this commitment, Owek Phillip Katahoire, who represented the Prime Minister of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, presided over a momentous graduation ceremony. The event celebrated the achievements of approximately 100 students who successfully completed vocational skills training programs.

During the graduation ceremony, Owek Phillip Katahoire underscored the significance of skills training in empowering the youth and driving sustainable development. He highlighted the immense potential of vocational education in equipping young individuals with practical expertise, enabling them to contribute effectively to their communities and the broader society.

“As a kingdom, we recognize the transformative power of skills training in the lives of our youth,” stated Owek Phillip Katahoire. “By embracing vocational education, our young people can unlock opportunities, enhance their employability, and actively participate in the sustainable development of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom.”
