Hundreds of Kakumiro locals set to receive PDM cash

Sacco chairmen have been urged to comprehend all members, particularly the ones who will pay back. Give the funds to family members whose existence you are aware of and who reside permanently.

Dr. Brian Tusiime, Institute Veterinary Officer said

“If you are aware that you have members with numerous debts to banks, lenders, and credit unions, why would the person be given the money? He questions chairpersons

“You must agree with your spouse regarding the money you are about to receive. All family members are intended to benefit from it”

According to reliable sources, On a yearly basis, 6% interest will be applied to the 1 million given to selected individuals who are set to receive.

“Make sure you are knowledgeable on the project you are requesting funding for. Do the project you are most familiar with and have experience with; if you are an expert in poultry, don’t start piggery. The money is there to assist you and enable you to move forward with your project”

“We won’t provide funds to any local councils that aren’t serious and prepared because thay we want to maintain balance” he added

“We shall divide all individuals by SACCO, then Enterprise groups and their chairman shall presents members respectively to select beneficiaries and get presented for consideration

The government will start disbursing money this week on Thursday, but it won’t be sent to members’ phone; instead, it will be put on Sacco accounts.
