A man in his thirties was recently discovered dead in a fishpond at the Kayanja landing site in Nyakiyumbu sub-county in Kasese District.
The Black Examiner was reportedly the first to learn about the incident. So far, there has been no comment from official police spokespersons.
However, a member of the Defense Committee and representative from the fisheries unit along the Kazinga Channel by the name of Mr. Oggi Thembo has identified the deceased as a local resident named Monday, who lived in the Kisinga sub-county.
According to Mr. Oggi, everything seemed normal about Monday’s day before his body was found near a fellow local resident’s fishpond.
