Mr. Joseph Karugaba Isimbwa Apuuli, Chairperson for Kulima Kurungi Farmers under the Civilian War Veterans in Greater Hoima, emphasized to Kazi-njema News the significant contribution of the late Ndahura family during the bush war.

He underscores that the bush war gave rise to the National Resistance Movement (NRAM), which remains the longest-serving government since colonial rule.

Mr. Karugaba urged the government to consistently acknowledge families like the late Ndahuras until their burial.

Pte. Mwesigwa fell in combat, while his brother Cpt. Businge passed away in the 1990s, following the guerrilla warfare from 1981 to 1986 led by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
