Kabale District | THE BLACK EXAMINER | Police in Kabale District are investigating the tragic death of Nyirabizimana Colodina, a 34-year-old Rwandan sex worker. She was found dead in her rented room (number 09) at New California Bar and Lodge in Kigongi, Kabale Municipality. Nyirabizimana had been residing there since July 2023.
Her body was discovered by the lodge’s manager, Evan Twinomugisha, at approximately 8:00 AM. According to Elly Maate, the police spokesperson for the Kigezi region, Nyirabizimana was last seen at the bar on the night of October 8, 2023, in the company of an unidentified male customer. Her lifeless body was found the following morning, October 9, 2023, during rent collection.
A report of the sudden death was filed at Kabale police station, and the scene was thoroughly documented. Nyirabizimana’s body was subsequently taken to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.”
