St. Balikuddembe Buloba Catholic Parish is seeking 1.2 billion shillings to finalize the construction of its Parish Administration Block, encompassing both Parish Offices and Priestly residences.
During the launch of the Parish’s end-of-year event, known as the “Yoyoota Buloba Parish Annual Fundraising Dinner,” the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Paul Ssembogga, emphasized the urgent need for these funds to complete the parish project.
Fr. Ssembogga explained that the Parish, established on May 8th, 2009, and inaugurated by the late Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, the then Archbishop of Kampala, comprises eight sub-parishes and serves a Catholic population of 14,000.
He invited the faithful to join them for this significant event scheduled for December 8th this year at the parish.
Furthermore, the organizing committee, led by Our Lady of Perpetual Kalambi Sub Parish, is coordinating the event, with Mathias Jjumba serving as the chairperson. Their objective is to raise 400 million shillings during the event, which will be graced by the Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, as the guest of honor.
