In Bulimi Village, Kilembe sub-county, Kasese district, a 32-year-old man, Malinguma Kambale Modesto, who had survived a lynching by an angry mob on theft allegations, has tragically passed away.
Local council one chairperson, Mr. Edson Byakunagha, confirmed the incident, revealing that the late Malinguma was attacked when he was found in possession of pork meat shortly after allegedly stealing a pig from his son-in-law the previous night.
Mr. Byakunagha also informed that Malinguma was accompanied by two others who are currently evading authorities. He urged suspected criminals in Bulimi Village to abandon such actions to avoid facing fatal consequences.
