Busia District | The Black Examiner – Two people have been confirmed dead on Tuesday morning in Busia after getting involved in a nasty road crash along the Busia-Jinja road.
The victims were a Bodaboda rider on a Bajaji Boxer registration number KNEP 114V and his passenger who were knocked by a speeding Toyota Corona vehicle registration number UAS 204V.
According to the South Bukedi Regional Police Spokesperson, Moses Mugwe, the incident happened at Busia Municipality at 10am on Tuesday.
He adds that the cause of an accident was over speeding by the driver of the Corona vehicle who is yet to be identified, who ended up knocking a Bodaboda rider with a passenger.
Mugwe adds that a mob of people claiming to be relatives of the deceased came and over powered staff at the hospital later took the bodies away.
By press time the vehicle and motorcycle were at Busia Police Station as investigations continued.
