Uganda Airlines has chosen Çelebi India as its preferred ground handling services partner in Mumbai. This partnership reflects Çelebi’s commitment to elevating Indian aviation service standards and providing global-standard ground and cargo handling services.
Çelebi India commenced its ground handling services for Uganda Airlines with the airline’s inaugural direct flight from Entebbe to Mumbai on October 7, 2023.
Tauseef Khan, CEO of Çelebi Ground Handling – India, expressed delight in bringing their ground handling expertise to Uganda Airlines in Mumbai. He anticipates a long-term partnership as Uganda Airlines expands its presence in India, emphasizing their commitment to providing seamless services and contributing to India’s aviation growth.
Jenifer Bamuturaki, Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Airlines, highlighted the airline’s pride in strengthening business and commercial ties between India and Uganda through direct flights from Entebbe to Mumbai. Uganda Airlines plans to expand its network to other destinations in India and congratulated Çelebi India for supporting the increasing demand for air passenger and cargo services in the country.
