UNEB Releases the 2023 Exam Timetable

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially released the 2023 timetables for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations.

Addressing journalists at the Uganda Media Center in Kampala, the board’s Executive Director, Daniel Odongo said this year’s national examinations will commence on Friday, October 13, with the briefing of UCE candidates.

He says candidates will begin with Geography on October 16, 2023, and the exams will run until November 17.

He adds that the second set of the examinations is the PLE which will be conducted from November 7 – 9, 2023, starting with the briefing of candidates.

Meanwhile, the final set of the examinations, UACE will be conducted from November 10 – December 1, 2023. A total of 1.2 million learners are set to sit for the three sets of exams.
