The area Woman MP Kween District, Cherukut Emma, aka Pakalast, has come out to refute the allegation that she was scammed over Ugshs 700 million on a black gold deal.
Recently, speculations have been making rounds on social media, alleging that the woman MP had gone into hiding after she was scammed over Ugshs 700 million by Hon. Twalla Fadil, the MP for Tingey County.
However, in replying to one of the members of the Elgon Radio Kapchorwa WhatsApp Group, Cherukut Emma refuted the allegations, stating that she’s a decent person and cannot involve herself in dubious dealings. “I am a member of Parliament, and I don’t deal in gold or black money,” said Emma.
“Our world champion, Jose Cheptegei the Great, it’s true that while I was away, a lot has been going on. But now that I am around, trust me, we shall handle those issues one by one,” she told Joshua
Cheptegei. However, she disapproved of the allegations and stated that she’s well and good.
