Their purpose was to evaluate the team’s preparations for the upcoming 2024 Rugby Africa Cup. The Rugby Cranes have been intensively training in a 10-day camp hosted by Blue Bulls Rugby, participating in two test matches with one win and one loss. They are scheduled to play their final test game against Loftus 200 in Pretoria on July 5.
Uganda is gearing up to host the Rugby Africa Cup from July 18 to 29 at Namboole Stadium. This tournament follows the 2022 edition, where Namibia secured victory over Kenya to qualify for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
Additionally, Uganda has been selected to host the 2025 edition of the competition.
