Kenya (EA) | THE BLACK EXAMINER | A body of a woman suspected of being assaulted before being killed has arrived in Kenya, ready for burial. The 26-year-old slain woman had traveled to the Middle East country of Saudi Arabia but has since returned home in a casket.

According to the slain victim’s father, Habibu traveled to Saudi Arabia in January last year, and she has been working there for almost one and a half years now.

She processed a transit document with the help of an unknown sponsor, and she has been communicating with the family in Kenya through video calls.

The woman has been of good help to the family until recently, when she said that her life was in danger. A strange call from Saudi Arabia brought a painful report about the mysterious death of his daughter.

“I can’t control my emotions when I see my daughter missing a tongue, missing eyes, and having raped and naked body dumped with such deep cuts. I don’t understand what to do. She has left a son, and I am unable to even pay for his school fees,” the woman’s father said while in tears, as quoted by the Standard Digital Newspaper.

As of everyday, there is a single day video of African domestic workers working in Saudi Arabia being tortured or killed surfaces on the internet.

In most cases, these workers are forced to do things against their will. Most of them end up in detention centers if lucky or they will be killed .

Some are forced to work for long hours without pay and when they try to claim for their payment, they are accused of something weird that will make them be arrested .

Some of them end up running mad due to phycological torture.

The African governments have been pushing to help these domestic workers but it seems their efforts yielded nothing.
