President Kagame Sends Humanitarian Aid to Gaza in Support of Palestine

President Paul Kagame has provided support to the people in need of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip. The ongoing Israeli offensive has left over two million people in Gaza facing severe shortages of essential items like water, food, and medical supplies.

A Rwandair Cargo plane transported the supplies from Rwanda to Gaza, where they were received by the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO), a charity that collaborates with voluntary charitable organizations both within and outside Jordan.

JHCO announced, “We have received today a humanitarian aid cargo plane from the country of Rwanda for the people in Gaza, containing medical supplies, food, and milk.”

The aid included 10 tons of fortified NOOTRI Baby and NOOTRI Family, which are highly nutritious dry meals made from grains like wheat, soya, and powdered whole milk. These products are produced by Africa Improved Foods (AIF), a Rwandan company known for supplying nutrient-rich complementary foods to combat malnutrition, particularly among children and pregnant or breastfeeding women in Rwanda and East Africa.

The situation in Gaza has become dire, with the UN reporting critical shortages of water, food, fuel, medical supplies, and even body bags due to the ongoing siege. The UN warned of impending deaths from severe dehydration, particularly among young children.

Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, leaving Palestinians with no safe places to go. Those who attempted to relocate from northern Gaza to the south, following orders from the Israeli army, have reportedly faced bombings, both during their escape and upon arrival in southern Gaza.

In related news, unconfirmed sources suggest that President Paul Kagame is expected to travel to the Middle East next week to attend the 7th Future Investment Initiative Business Conference from October 24-26, taking place in Saudi Arabia. During the conference, Kagame will engage in discussions on regional and global issues, including the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine in Gaza.
