Following an accident involving a royal team van from Kamuli to Jinja, the precise spot of the Kyabazinga’s wedding, six people have been officially declared dead.

 Six people perished at the scene, and eight more were injured at the Nawantumbi Trading Centre on Kamuli-Jinja Road, according to a police report. 

According to preliminary investigations, the incident involving the super custom car with registration number UAZ742U happened roughly 20 kilometres away from Kamuli. Six individuals are said to have died instantly when the car, which was a part of the Kyabazinga royal wedding team escort, lost control and crashed into onlookers at around 10:40 a.m.

 The incident was confirmed by ASP Michael Kasadha, Regional Police Spokesperson. According to Kasadha, the victims were transferred to various medical facilities while additional inquiries were conducted, and the bodies were sent to the mortuary of Kamuli General Hospital for a postmortem.
