JOHANNESBURG, (Examiner) – With a three-decade presence in Uganda, MultiChoice, the continent’s premier satellite TV broadcaster, is delving into deeper collaboration with the new Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement encompasses ventures in digitalization, bolstering Uganda’s content sector, safeguarding intellectual property rights, and fostering skills development.

Dr. Keabetswe Modimoeng, Multichoice Group’s Executive for Regulatory & Corporate Affairs, expressed, “We perceive Uganda as a pivotal market for both our commercial expansion and pivotal socio-development endeavors.”

The signing event, held in Johannesburg, featured Dr. Aminah Zawedde, Permanent Secretary of Uganda’s Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, alongside Hassan Saleh, Managing Director of Multichoice Uganda.
